Potential

UChicago’s First Undergraduate Neuroscience Journal

We proudly present the Winter 2024 edition of Potential, our undergraduate-student-run journal, under the (suggested) theme of “The Art and Science of the Brain.” A foray into the complexities of neuroscience, our journal consists of a diverse collection of student-written scientific articles, poems, prose, artwork, interviews, and more. We aim to give University of Chicago students (of any discipline) a platform to explore and express their interest in neuroscience in a collaborative, encouraging environment. This issue is a cumulation of hard work and dedication from our three teams of writers/creators, editors, and designers, and we hope you enjoy reading!

Potential accepts submissions for all types of student-produced work related to neuroscience: scientific article submissions, interview transcripts with experts, creative content (graphics, videos, podcasts), etc. If you wish to submit to a future edition of Potential or join our team of editors and designers, please write to our 2024-2025 Editor-in-Chief, Chris Cardenas (cardenasc@uchicago.edu).
